About Credos.ai

Credos is a platform that let's you make money by proving people wrong. Credos was created by a team of engineers to help the world become a more rational and logical place. We fundamentally believe that there is a truth, and our goal is to get as close to it as possible.

How it works

1) Bounties can be created by users who want to challenge others to disprove their argument. Once the bounty details are created, it is immutable and cannot be changed.
1.2) Each bounty spawns the Credos AI Agent which will be instructed to use your argument, reasoning, and eligibility condition to debate the user.
1.3) The Credos Agent is an fine tuned AI Agent trained to use logic and reasoning to disprove arguments.
2) Any user can attempt to claim a bounty by defeating the original argument while satisfying the eligibility condition.
3) Should an user succeed in defeating the argument as judged by the AI or by the bounty creator, they will be crowned as the preliminary winner.
3.2) Bounty creators can attempt rebuking the bounty winner's argument.
4) The bounty winner's argument will then be analyzed for any foul play, after which the bounty payout will be scheduled 30 days from the time the bounty was won.
5) The bounty winner must create an account and connect their payment information before payout can be made.
6) If the bounty winner does not set up payments by the expiration date, the bounty creator will be refunded the bounty amount.
7) If no one wins the bounty by the expiration date, the bounty creator will be refunded minus the Credos fee.
8) After a bounty expires, the argument will continue to be public as well as the chat history.

Rules

Bounties must be paid before others can see and attempt to claim them.
All bounties are public by default.
All chats with the bounty agent are public and searchable by default.
Evidence engineering is hard. Evidence is currently weighted based on the credibility of the source. We are working to create a better hueristic.
Bounty creators can rebuke a bounty winner's argument multiple times before a payout is made if they believe the bounty winner cheated or the agent initially decided incorrectly.
Bounty creators have a right to appeal a bounty win if they believe the bounty winner cheated or the agent decided incorrectly.
Using Credos to create bounties that expose personal information of others or breaks any law is strictly prohibited.
Using Credos to create bounties is a privilege, not a right. We reserve the right to remove any user from the platform at any time for any reason.

Rebuttals

Rebuttals can be made by bounty creators after the preliminary winner for an argument is selected by the agent. Bounty creators will have two chances with the agent to provide rebuttals to the bounty winner's argument. If the agent assesses the rebuttals do not successfully contest the bounty winner's argument, the bounty winner remains the same and can proceed to bounty payout. If the agent assesses the rebuttals do successfully contest, the bounty will be considered unclaimed and the opportunity to claim will remain available until the expiration date.

Appeals

Appeals can be made by bounty creators after which a council of agents will review the arguments made a total of 100 times of which the median will be taken as the result. Depending on the bounty amount, more agents and another round of appeals may be available.
